If you require cleaning services, you can choose one of two ways: contact a private cleaner or call a cleaning company. The first option will cost much less, but does this mean that it is preferable? You might think that there is nothing complicated in the cleaning, and any person, who needs part-time work, is able to cope with washing floors and windows no worse than a team of cleaning specialists. However, it is not. It is better to use home cleaning services provided by specialized companies because of the following reasons:

• Safety. All employees of cleaning companies are officially employed and registered. And by hiring a cleaning lady from an ad, you invite into the apartment a completely unfamiliar person – perhaps not quite honest.
• Efficiency. The cleaner is armed only with a bucket, a rag and a bottle of detergent. It's not enough to clean up and make the office or apartment shine. The cleaning companies have modern cleaning vacuums, as well as professional detergents – effective and safe for people and pets.
• Careful attitude. Specialists from cleaning companies are well aware of features of different materials and know how to handle them.

Experts distinguish several types of cleaning apartments:

• Supportive. This is an ordinary, routine cleaning, which is often done weekly. It includes cleaning and washing floors, skirting boards, window sills, furniture and appliances, dusting from wall lamps and mirrors, collecting and removing garbage, washing sanitary ware, tiles, cabinets and mixers, washing the working surface of the cooker and rubbing the work area of the hood.
• Advanced. Such cleaning is required in those cases, when the apartment has not been cleaned for a long time and the space has been thoroughly littered. In addition, to maintain the house clean, this cleaning is carried out several times a year. This type of cleaning includes cleaning the floor, upholstered furniture and carpets with a vacuum cleaner and wet cleaning with the removal of furniture, removing dust from all horizontal and vertical surfaces, furniture and skirting boards.
• After the repair. Repair, of course, is not a fire – although in terms of the degree of destruction, it is sometimes comparable to a natural disaster. For cleaning after repair, a special professional technique is usually used, which allows removing construction dust and hard-to-remove stains of paint, glue and other substances.

Cleaning cottages and country houses is similar to cleaning apartments, but there are some differences and features. Firstly, the area of houses and cottages, as a rule, is somewhat larger than that of urban apartments, which means that more workers are required for cleaning as soon as possible. Secondly, the height of ceilings in urban apartments almost never exceeds 3-4 meters, and often it is much smaller, while in the halls of cottages the ceiling height can be 6-7 meters and even more. This means that home cleaning services will use special ladders and other equipment for cleaning of ceilings and washing chandeliers. Thirdly, private houses are often equipped with their own saunas and swimming pools, which also require care. And finally, owners of country cottages often order cleaning not only of the house itself, but also the adjacent territory.
